The Sonance Reference in-wall subwoofer housing is the matching installation housing for the two Sonance Reference subwoofers: R12SUB & R10SUB.

With a combination of 1/2" and 1" MDF materials for excellent bass isolation; Extruded aluminum strip for minimal obstruction to airflow within the housing; mass damping of the front and rear walls of the housing; long-strand internal fiberglass attenuation to dissipate standing waves; two positive and negative ports for maximum cable connection; The floating enclosure design minimizes vibration transfer to adjacent rooms. fits standard 2x4 stud bay; blank prep plate for easy installation
