KRIX KX CYCLONIX 11
The Cyclonix series subwoofers such as the KRIX KX CYCLONIX 11 are designed for superior bass performance in special home cinema rooms.
Their shallow depth allows them to be discreetly placed on a side or rear wall as supporting subwoofers for an MX Series system. They can also be used as the main subwoofer in a dedicated home theater system - either behind an acoustically transparent screen or elsewhere in the room.
The design of the Cyclonix 11 is based on the subwoofer modules of the MX-5 system, but the sound-absorbing material on the baffle has been omitted and an optional black fabric grille is offered instead.
The 275mm woofer features a 50mm voice coil with a vented magnet system. The single, downward-facing air outlet is tuned for maximum performance, while proprietary Krix rubber feet provide improved acoustic isolation on hard and soft floor surfaces.
This subwoofer requires a separate power amplifier that can be connected to the LFE output of any AV processor or receiver.
