The Audioquest Cherry Cola Active HDMI cable is one of the most powerful and best HDMI cables in the Audioquest range. Cable lengths of up to 30.5m are possible without losses and the transmission of Full HD and 4K UHD signals is ensured. It uses a newly developed advanced electro-optical conversion module and four optical fiber conductors. This means that around 18 Gbit/s data packages, including 4K Ultra HD and HDR, can be reliably transmitted for distances of up to 30.5 m.

With the HDMI plug on the image output source such as an AV receiver or UHD player, a special HDMI to optical converter actively converts the signal into an optical one. The HDMI plug on the TV or projector converts the optical signal back into HDMI.
