Advance Paris X-i1100 stereo integrated amplifier

The new Advance Paris X-i1100 replaces the successful X-i1000 as the new top model in the exclusive amplifier portfolio of the traditional French manufacturer Advance Paris. Designed and developed in France for maximum acoustic performance and the highest performance, the X-i1100 relies on an uncompromising and elaborate interior design, exclusive and audiophile individual components as well as the simple operating concept and the unmistakable aesthetics of Advance Paris.

An acoustic representation of the highest authenticity and perfect precision was always the top priority in the development of the new flagship. The basis for this is an extremely torsion-resistant chassis with five separately divided chambers in which the different system boards and circuit boards as well as the powerful toroidal core transformer are located. The strictly separated, rigid structure means that interference and vibrations can be almost completely eliminated. The complex construction is completed by state-of-the-art components, including polypropylene capacitors and metal film resistors, which are particularly suitable for use in high-quality audio components.

Another highlight of the new top model is the automatic switch from Class A to Class AB operation. The extremely powerful amplifier is able to provide 220 watts per channel at 8 ohms and therefore works uncompromisingly with almost all speakers on the market. If full power is not required, the X-i1100 operates in Class A operation, which is particularly popular with audiophile users and has extremely low distortion. Only when the required power exceeds a certain value does the amplifier switch to Class AB operation. This switching occurs automatically and at lightning speed, the listener doesn't notice anything.

Of course, the integrated amplifier flagship from Advance Paris also comes with numerous analog and digital connection options and interfaces. Particularly worth mentioning is the asynchronous X-MOS USB interface, which enables a direct connection to a PC, notebook or Mac. The audio signal transmission is then fully digital and the usually weak D/A conversion in the computer is completely bypassed. In the X-i1100, this demanding task is carried out by exclusive 192 kHz/24-bit Burr Brown converters manufactured specifically for audiophile purposes.
