IR and RS-232 Control with Drivers Available: IR control of the B-260 SWTCH 4x1 Switcher requires an external IR receiver, which is not included. The IR input is compatible with all Episode IR receivers including E-IR-RCVR-TUBE, EE-IR-RCVR-SM and EE-IR-RCVR-TT. The required IR remote control is included.

Built-in ESD and surge protection, thermal resiliency: Intelligent circuit design perfected through extensive hardware testing resulted in a robust product with excellent ESD and surge protection that exceeds CE Level 3 standards. During development, each port was tortured with an ESD gun and a lightning simulator. They were subjected to ESD at 15KV and surges up to 1600V. More importantly, they all lived to tell the tale!
