The Binary™ 4K Media over IP Transmitter with Audio Downmixing, together with a MoIP receiver and a MoIP controller, forms a highly scalable, flexible IP media distribution system that delivers visually lossless 4K HDR videos (HDR 30Hz and HDCP 2.2 compatible) and all Multi-channel formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. Running on a low-cost Gigabit Layer 2 PoE switch, this setup is the fastest and easiest available. Additionally, OvrC remote management allows for quick system setup, easy troubleshooting with access to live screenshots of source streams, and quick, easy firmware updates.1 MoIP transmitters also include a selection of audio features, allowing traders to troubleshoot problems with every order to solve, including HDMI loop-out, audio injection, audio breakout and the ability to lock the sound to stereo or 5.1 multi-channel. Finally, RS-232, IR, and custom drivers for popular control systems provide tremendous system design flexibility.
Visually lossless 4K video
MoIP encodes video up to 4K HDR using visually lossless variable bitrate compression technology. The system is compatible with HDR and HDCP 2.2, resulting in an ultra-stable video stream, perfect audio/video synchronization and extremely low latency (one frame).
Versatile audio
Each MoIP transmitter has versatile options for distributing audio. Multi-channel sound including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X can be sent to an AV receiver using the HDMI loop-out. For 2-channel PCM sources, stereo analog can be extracted for routing to multi-room distribution amplifiers or injected as a replacement for HDMI audio. Finally, the source can be forced to use stereo or multi-channel outputs to reduce possible complications after leaving the workplace.
Unlimited control options
Switching from inputs (TX) to outputs (RX) is done by IP commands from a control system that are sent to the MoIP controller. The system supports three methods of controlling sources and displays as standard: IR, RS-232 and CEC. IR or RS-232 commands can be issued over IP and generated at any endpoint. If desired, virtual IR and RS-232 routing can also be configured from any TX to any or all RX(s). Desired methods for issuing commands can be selected via the local user interface. Finally, MoIP also supports CEC for simpler installations where only display and standby are required.
Integration of control systems
Our engineers have written drivers for the industry's leading control systems such as Control4, Crestron, ELAN, URC and more - so controlling the system has a familiar feel. Advanced features like IR routing and RS-232 over IP offer even more flexibility and customization - and we've even provided the MoIP controller API to create your own drivers if necessary.

The Binary™ 4K Media over IP Transmitter with Downmixing allows multi-channel audio to be downmixed to 2-channel audio, eliminating the need to select multi-channel or force downmixing, and provides immersive multi-channel audio in one area while in the throughout the room in 2-channel audio format.

Ultra-reliable HDR
Binary MoIP eliminates legacy EMI interference and HDCP/EDID issues. Each source is encoded visually losslessly with the highest possible quality (e.g. 4K HDR). The signal is then decoded from the network on each display and scaled to the desired resolution (e.g. 1080p or 4K HDR). Built-in scaling in the RX means mixed 1080p/4K systems are no longer a problem, plus pass-through of all audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X is fully supported.
