How smart can a subwoofer be? Thanks to the ELAC SUB Control APP and the advanced Bluetooth interface, the SUB 2050 can easily be connected to an iPhone®, iPad® or Android® mobile phone or tab and the sound can be adapted to your personal taste. Intuitive, easy to understand and free - this clever app communicates with the subwoofer directly via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), meaning no complicated network connections are necessary.

This means for the user: No strenuous readjustment on the back of the subwoofer, for example if you want more bass during a home cinema evening or if you want the neighbors to remain undisturbed in the dead of night. Four quick instant modes are available at your fingertips: Normal, Music, Cinema and Night. If you delve deeper into the app control options, you will discover real professional options such as a parametric equalizer, low-pass filter or individual settings for the energy-saving automatic switch-on. Perhaps the most exciting option: Calibration using the microphone built into the smartphone - the app listens for the volume, frequency response and reflections in the room and optimally adjusts the ELAC subwoofer.

All models can be connected via stereo RCA cable, the SUB 2050, 2070 and 2090 models can also be connected directly via speaker cable (left, center, right). The SUB 2090 can also be connected to the signal source using stereo XLR cables. If you want to go completely wireless: The new high-performance subwoofers are equipped with an ELAC wireless interface and are therefore prepared for wireless music transfer.

Effective in every way

Compact, powerful and operable via app*: the SUB 2050 has a 300 mm chassis that is powered by a 500 W RMS BASH amplifier. Thanks to its small dimensions, the SUB fits seamlessly into existing interiors and complements both bookshelf and full-size floorstanding speakers in stereo and surround systems.
