Krix KA-1100 is a subwoofer amplifier designed from the ground up by Krix. It offers pre-configured DSP modifications to drive, maximize and get the most out of the performance of Krix passive subwoofers. The KA-1000 dual mono subwoofer amplifier delivers movie soundtracks with high performance and incredibly low distortion.
The DSP modes are set for the Krix MX-5, MX-10, Cyclonix 11 and Cyclonix 12 subwoofers. Each mode is specifically tailored to precisely amplify the input signal to full power without compression or loss of dynamics. The Krix KA-1100 offers a third preset mode for general subwoofer use.
Built-in soft limiting protects the speaker drivers if an input signal is applied beyond the maximum subwoofer capacity.
Class D amplification and 24-bit signal processor
The Krix KA-1100 is based on Class D amplification from ICEpowerTM and contains a 24-bit signal processor board specially developed by Krix. The amplifier offers a 12 volt trigger connection for easy switching on. Balanced and unbalanced connection options are also a board. The amplifier also works with a fanless design, which makes operation extremely quiet. Designed specifically for home theater enthusiasts.
Integration into furniture or 19" racks
The included rack mounts allow the KA-1100 to be perfectly integrated into a server cabinet or 19" rack. A brushed aluminum cover is included, which can be easily removed. This allows quick access to all controls on the Krix KA-1100.
