This low-profile, passive subwoofer is designed to deliver excellent low-frequency performance as a supporting subwoofer for an MX-10 system or as a standalone subwoofer in an SX Series system.
KRIX KX CYCLONIX 12
The Cyclonix series of subwoofers are designed for superior bass performance in dedicated home theater rooms.
Their shallow depth allows them to be discreetly placed on a side or rear wall as supporting subwoofers for an MX Series system. They can also be used as the main subwoofer in a dedicated home theater system - either behind an acoustically transparent screen or elsewhere in the room.
The design of the KRIX KX CYCLONIX 12 is based on the subwoofer modules of the MX-10 system, with the sound-absorbing material on the baffle being omitted and an optional black fabric grille being offered instead.
The 305mm woofer features a 50mm voice coil with a vented magnet system. The dual downward-facing vents are tuned for maximum performance, while the proprietary Krix rubber feet provide enhanced acoustic isolation on hard and soft ground surfaces.
This subwoofer requires a separate power amplifier that can be connected to the LFE output of any AV processor or receiver.
