The Megaphonix was specially developed for use on the wall in special home cinemas. It has a high resilience and highly sensitive drivers that deliver the necessary power and dynamics for the ultimate cinematic effect.

The 255mm woofer has a 50mm voice coil and is designed to have low harmonic distortion, particularly in the critical midrange. The woofer's paper cone and surround were developed to ensure the smoothest possible response.

The tweeter is a specially damped, high-performance, doped 26mm fabric dome tweeter that is coupled to Krix's proprietary waveguide to ensure consistently optimal dispersion of 90 degrees horizontally and 40 degrees vertically across the entire bandwidth. The combined treble range is exceptionally smooth and well controlled - a new benchmark in loudspeaker reproduction.

The KX MEGAPHONIX is equipped with a 15 degree angled baffle and is ideal for wall mounting as a rear or side surround speaker and offers excellent dispersion characteristics for all listening positions. The cabinets are braced and critically dampened to enhance bass response and come with a black material grille and rear key hook mounts for easy installation.

The KX MEGAPHONIX is the in-wall speaker of a five-speaker family and can be combined with main or surround speakers to create a cohesive, clear and consistent sound experience.
