KRIX MX-10 basic module
Designed for dedicated home theaters with an acoustically transparent screen, the KRIX MX-10 base module is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an immersive cinema experience with crystal-clear speech intelligibility, wide dynamic range and powerful bass.
Designed for medium-sized dedicated cinema rooms, the KRIX MX-10 base module represents the next level of modular home theater performance. It includes the same Krix waveguide and woofer as its bigger brother, the MX-20.
The KRIX MX-10 basic module consists of five modules, all of the same height and a slim depth of just 205 mm for easy installation in a wall cavity.
The front baffle of each module is covered with an acoustically absorbent material to absorb sound reflected from the back of the screen or the room itself. This is a great help in acoustically treating the room to ensure better intelligibility and overall sound performance.
The main speakers feature a 255mm mid-bass driver with a 50mm voice coil designed to provide low harmonic distortion, particularly in the critical midrange.
The tweeter unit is a damped, high-performance, doped 26mm fabric dome tweeter coupled with a proprietary Krix waveguide to ensure optimal dispersion across the entire working bandwidth. Each subwoofer includes a large 305mm paper cone driver with a 50mm long-throw voice coil designed to amplify high levels and low frequencies.
