For all-encompassing cinematic sound in a handy enclosure, the KRIX PHONIX is modeled after the wedge-shaped design of Krix's commercial cinema surround speakers, allowing it to be mounted high and away from the listener to ensure excellent directivity and audio coverage for all listening positions.

The Phonix was developed for surround sound on the wall and on the back and offers high resilience with a low-frequency extension up to 45 Hz.

The powerful 165mm woofer has a 33mm voice coil wound on a high performance aluminum support, with a vented spider and aluminum flux stabilization ring for low distortion. The woofer's paper cone and surround have been developed to ensure the smoothest possible response and a dynamic and non-fatiguing vocal midband.

The tweeter is a specially damped, high-performance, doped 26mm fabric dome tweeter. Combined with the crossover, designed and built from professional components with tight tolerances, the result is an exceptionally smooth and controlled sound.
