The Marantz AV8805A is a no-compromise multi-channel AV processor and preamplifier designed specifically for use with high-quality external power amplifiers or powered speakers.

For maximum flexibility with music and films, the preamplifier has a balanced XLR stereo input as well as freely assignable, balanced 15.2 channel XLR preamplifier outputs. This comprehensive symmetry or XLR compatibility ensures high-end performance in the home and studio, while the 15.2 channel RCA preamp outputs provide additional compatibility with multiple high-quality external power amplifiers or active speakers.

In addition, the Marantz AV8805A further improves the audio quality by sensitively processing all signals via the self-developed Marantz HDAM modules in current feedback topology before they are passed on to the XLR or RCA outputs and the separate power amplifier.

The latest HDMI technologies ensure excellent video performance. The Marantz AV8805A has eight HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs for all your favorite sources. A dedicated 8K HDMI input supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz passthrough, Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10+, 21:9 video format, 3D and BT.2020 passthrough. In addition, the copy protection standard HDCP 2.3 and the latest video functions are supported on all HDMI inputs. .

Thanks to the integrated HEOS technology, streaming services such as Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, Juke!, Deezer, Tidal and Soundcloud as well as Internet radio can be accessed directly via the AV8805A . In addition, the AV8805 can be integrated into a multiroom audio system for the entire living area and optionally expanded with additional HEOS components. It is controlled via the intuitive HEOS app. It also has integrated Apple AirPlay and wireless Bluetooth connectivity - for direct streaming from smartphones and tablets. Network music can be played over Ethernet or the built-in Wi-Fi, even in ultra-high resolution formats including DSD2.8/5.6 as well as up to 24-bit/192-kHz ALAC, FLAC and WAV in lossless format.

Customer Installations (CI): This model also includes an RS-232C serial interface with Control4 SDDP (Simple Device Detection Protocol) and Crestron Connected certification for quick and easy integration with Control4 and Crestron home automation devices.

The AV8805A from Marantz is equipped with Audyssey MultEQ XT32, LFC, Sub EQ HT, Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ to provide extremely high precision in room acoustic correction for setting up your own home theater. With the optional Audyssey MultEQ Editor app, settings can be further refined or adjusted to suit personal preferences. Thanks to the optimized setup wizard, the user is guided step by step through the setup process to ensure the best sound quality. The quick selection buttons also offer quick access to the settings of your favorite sources.
