The new Marantz AV receiver CINEMA 50, designed for 2022/23, offers first-class technology. With 9 discrete power amplifiers and an output of 185 watts per channel, Marantz delivers a lively and powerful sound. The result is an impressive 9.4-channel experience. Thanks to the internal high-quality signal processing, the Marantz CINEMA 50 can even process 11 sound channels. If you connect an optional 2-channel power amplifier, you get a fantastic 11.4 system.

Playback formats and HDMI capabilities explained

When it comes to playback formats and functions, the Marantz CINEMA 50 leaves little to be desired. It supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X and now also Auro 3D for impressive audio playback. In terms of video formats, the amplifier can seamlessly process all common HDR formats with HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The CINEMA 50 also has 6 full-fledged HDMI 2.1 connections that support 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz with HDR.

This makes it perfect for home cinema, HiFi and gaming and well prepared for the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. It also offers features such as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and of course the Audio Return Channel ARC / eARC.

For record players - Phono input

With the CINEMA 50's phono input, you can connect a record player with a magnetic system and enjoy your record collection in excellent audio quality. The receiver also has a receiver for Internet radio and enables wireless audio streaming via Bluetooth headphones or connected speakers.

Voice Assistants & HEOS Built-in

The Marantz CINEMA 50 also supports smart voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, so you can conveniently operate the amplifier using voice control. Thanks to the HEOS Built-in function, you can fully control the CINEMA 50 using the free HEOS app for Android or iOS. With HEOS, you can play the song in every room or select different songs for the AVR and other HEOS-equipped Denon Home speakers.
