Amplifier with current feedback

The amplifier technology with current feedback enables sound reproduction with a wide bandwidth and high speed. In combination with the high-current power supply, the PM6007 has massive energy reserves to power even demanding speakers with ease. Thanks to highly developed temperature compensation, memory distortion effects are prevented, guaranteeing clean amplification in every situation.

Marantz PM6007

D:A converter

Reference quality D/A converter for digital input

The Marantz PM6007 is equipped with the new, high-resolution, reference-class D/A converter AK4490. With a resolution of up to 192 kHz/24 bit, it ensures optimal sound fidelity for high-resolution audio files.

High current power supply Marantz high current power supply

The power supply features fast, high-current Schottky diodes and high-current storage capacitors powered by a toroidal transformer. Together they provide a wide and dynamic soundstage and enable low impedance driving.

Marantz toroidal core Toroidal transformer

Toroidal core transformers have several key advantages over normal El-core transformers. Due to their higher efficiency, they deliver more power compared to electric core transformers of the same size. Thanks to their shape, electromagnetic radiation and mechanical vibrations are very low, resulting in better sound quality.

Marantz HDAM-SA3 technology

Marantz has developed its own discrete circuits to replace the traditional ICs. These HDAMs (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules) consist of discrete components with short and identical signal paths for right and left. They have the same function as IC operational amplifiers, but far exceed them with their high flow rate and reduced noise, ensuring a more dynamic, precise and detailed sound.

The Marantz PM6007's HDAM-SA3 circuitry has been improved compared to the previous model. The reactive power stability is less affected by the temperature of the power transistor to maintain sound performance even at high output levels.

Advanced connectivity for digital inputs (2 optical, 1 coaxial) with support for high-res audio

One coaxial and two optical digital inputs allow you to connect digital devices and playback high-resolution audio files (up to 192 kHz/24-bit PCM) via the PM6007's state-of-the-art audio circuitry. To ensure that the analog signal is not affected by the digital stage, the entire digital area is shielded by its own metal housing.

Marantz back

Digital filter for optical/coaxial inputs

The Marantz PM6007 is equipped with a new digital filter for optical and coaxial inputs. The two modes (Filter 1/Filter 2) enable optimized playback of digital music content tailored to your preferences using the AK4490 D/A converter. Filter 1 uses a slow roll-off for a spatially deeper sound image, Filter 2 uses a steep roll-off for a more precise stereo image.

Subwoofer output

An external subwoofer with a low-pass cutoff frequency of 150 Hz can be connected to the PM6007. Enjoy precise bass without audible peaks or dips - regardless of the placement of your subwoofer.

Marantz PM6007 Phono Improved integrated phono input

Marantz has always equipped its integrated amplifiers with high-quality phono amplifiers. The Marantz PM6007 is no exception: it boasts a circuit that was newly developed for the PM7000N and has an input stage with a FET (field effect transistor). This increases the impedance, simplifying the signal path by eliminating coupling capacitors and minimizing distortion and noise. The result is the purest sound that can be heard.

High quality audio components

Marantz has always been known for using the best components in its Hi-Fi products. The Marantz PM6007 was also developed using this performance-oriented approach. During long listening sessions at dedicated Marantz facilities in Europe and Japan, Marantz engineers carefully redesigned the PM6007 and improved it over its predecessor, the PM6006. Only first-class hi-fi sound components were used. For example, the power supply capacitors have been increased by 20% to improve power stability in demanding listening situations.

The most musical sound

The PM6007 was developed and extensively tuned by a team with more than 65 years of hi-fi expertise. This achieves exceptional performance for your audio collection. No matter whether digital or analog – you will always enjoy extremely musical sound from every source.
