Q Acoustics 7000i Slim 5.1 Home Theater System

The 7000i Slim 5.1 home theater system is aimed at music and film lovers who want great sound from extremely compact speakers. The four satellites and the center with their attractive aluminum housings are combined with the only 150 mm deep subwoofer 7060S, which can also be hung on the wall and, despite its compact dimensions, reproduces an extremely precise, powerful, dynamic and deep bass.

When developing the 7000i series, the focus was on beautifully designed speakers that were as compact as possible, but whose sound quality should be in no way inferior to conventional sound transducers. This requirement could be achieved with a satellite subwoofer combination in which the low frequencies of all five surround channels are reproduced via a central active subwoofer.

The satellite housings are made of elegantly shaped aluminum profiles, which makes the loudspeakers significantly more compact than is possible with conventional materials.

At the same time, these housings also offer acoustic advantages, as the lack of corners and edges means that no standing waves can arise inside the housing that would impair the sound quality.

In order to achieve a balanced frequency response across the entire audio range without annoying gaps and peaks, it is very important that the transition between the satellites and the subwoofer is as seamless as possible. In this system, this is guaranteed by the satellites' very low lower limit frequency of 95 Hertz.

If the speakers are attached to the wall next to and below or above the TV screen, they can be aligned exactly to the listening position. This guarantees precise and cleanly staggered stereo and surround playback. Since the connection terminals are integrated into the wall brackets, the speaker cables are completely invisible.

While the satellites can be positioned very flexibly with their base, which can alternatively be used as a table base or wall mount, the 7000i stand, available as an accessory, allows the compact speakers to be particularly elegantly displayed. The speaker cable is hidden through the base, and a glass plate with four spikes gives the ensemble a secure stand. A wall mount for the subwoofer 7060S is also available separately.
