The big advantage of diffusion is the constant reverberation time, which means it can also have an effective effect in rooms that have already been acoustically treated well because no energy is lost.
The Sonitus Bigfuser II is very suitable for ceilings and back walls, but using it behind the speakers is also a sensible measure for dipole speakers or panel radiators because reflection is desired here.
