The Stealth Acoustics StingRay 8 outdoor environmental speaker is completely hermetically sealed and completely immune to the elements, including rain, snow, ice or particles. There are no grilles and no openings, so it can even be operated underwater. The StingRay 8 has an IEC IP rating of IP-68, meaning it exceeds the highest standard IP rating (IP-67) and is certified to last at least 64 hours underwater at a depth of 1 meter. StingRay is an 8" 2-way speaker that uses a mix of traditional and cutting-edge speaker technologies. The internal drivers are an 8" high-performance cone woofer and a 25W direct-coupled 30mm neodymium tweeter. Together they power the unique FidelityGlassTM solid front radiating surface of the speaker with energy, ensuring surprising bass reproduction and a gentle treble range.

The shockproof and extremely durable StingRay 8 reproduces tones from 45 Hz to 18 kHz and radiates all tones evenly in a nearly hemispherical pattern. A marine grade ASA housing makes Stingray stable and fully functional from 0 to 150F degrees. With an output power of up to 103 dB, StingRay is perfect for outdoor music, outdoor theater, programming or paging applications.
