The new SPL-Ultra series inherits the established and award-winning DD series, which became known as the world's first subwoofer series with automatic room measurement. With the subwoofers available in two sizes/performance classes (SPL-Ultra 10, Velodyne SPL-1200 Ultra), Velodyne is consistently continuing the concept of the DD series. All aspects of the design have been carefully developed and perfected, from the housing with increased rigidity, to the digital amplifiers with optimized circuits, to the drivers and the operating concept.
