Maximum performance with BTL

With Bridge Tied Load (BTL), the performance reserves of the MX-A5200 can be increased even further. This enables an additional improvement in playback via the front speakers.

Uncompromising construction in the Yamaha MX-A5200

As part of its uncompromising construction, the MX-A5200 features a specially designed, ultra-rigid chassis that eliminates the effects of vibration.

The MX-A5200 uses a double base construction of vibration-reducing plates made from 1.6 mm thick steel - like the legendary Z11 AV receiver.

To support the heavy heatsinks and other components, the left and right sides are designed independently and supported by a solid frame. The lower frame reduces the transmission of vibrations from the generously sized power supply.

The power amplifier also has a heavy isolator that blocks external vibrations.

Perfectly symmetrical

The symmetrical power amplifier MX-A5200 is precisely planned; its signal routing and the structure of the circuits enable perfect channel separation of the left and right sides.

The circuit design improves the signal-to-noise ratio and creates a wide soundstage.

Effortless power

The MX-A5200 uses a large, high output toroidal transformer and connects it to two special high capacity charging capacitors. This makes it as powerful as it is resistant to overload.

Energy is not lost, but is used for effortless sound reproduction.

Superior connections

The rear of the Yamaha MX-A5200 offers high-quality gold-plated connectors that are compatible with Y-plugs (banana plugs) and create a perfect connection to the speakers.

Heavy, stable base plate

A stable chassis is the basis for better performance and full, rich sound. The MX-A5200 is equipped with a thick base plate for this purpose. It stabilizes the entire structure and thus enables the best possible sound.

Balanced XLR connections on the Yamaha MX-A5200

When connecting AV components, electrical noise may occur. These can also come from other, external sources due to the connection of the components.

To get around this problem, the MX-A5200 uses balanced connections for all eleven channels, as are found in professional audio technology.

The alternative unbalanced RCA connection uses special technology that enables easy balanced transmission.
